Our expertise at your service
We've been reinventing your classrooms for over 10 years.
Kalyzée was born in higher education. It stayed there. Our expertise comes from a team that knows your lecture halls, your constraints, and your students — and has built technology to match.

The backstory...
Kalyzée is born
Founded by Stéphane Barbati, a teacher-researcher at Aix-Marseille University. Launch of Kast, the first multi-feed camera control system designed for teaching — awarded at Open edX Boston in its very first year.
Kast Revolt — mobile capture
A portable version of Kast for traveling teachers, conferences and enriched in-person training.
Covid acceleration — +300 classrooms
The health crisis reveals the urgency of teaching continuity. Kalyzée meets massive demand with technology that's already proven.
Pivot to an integrated platform
Capture, streaming, teaching tools and LMS in a single environment, with no friction. The ideal HyFlex classroom takes shape.
Official launch of Kalyzée Connect
The fully redesigned platform integrates capture, streaming and automatic archiving in a single environment. No manual work for the teacher.
Sector knowledge
We speak your language.
Deploying a solution in higher education isn’t just installing software. It means understanding an institution’s governance, the constraints of EdTech teams, the reality of teacher-researchers, and the expectations of today’s students.
The people we talk to are VPs of education, academic directors, digital officers. We know every institution has its own pace, its own resistance points, its own priorities. That’s why we support every deployment from A to Z.
End-to-end support
Classroom audits, rollout, team training, customization of your tools.
On-the-ground expertise
Lecture halls, labs, architecture, remote regions — we adapt your classrooms to your environment.
Human support
Your teams talk to humans, not tickets
Designed, developed and hosted in France
Sovereign data, GDPR compliance
Technical expertise
Technology designed to disappear.
The best teaching tool is the one the teacher doesn’t have to think about. The teacher walks in, clicks on their course — they’re live. No cables, no technician. On the admin side, everything is automated too: schedule, recordings and live streams go straight into learners’ hands, with no human intervention.
Zero friction for the teacher
Getting started shouldn’t require any training. If a tool takes effort, it won’t be used.
- +100% enrollments
Remote students on par with in-person
Not a passive stream, but an active experience: choice of view, quizzes, attendance tracking, speaking up, collaborative whiteboard.
- Up to 4 campuses at the same time
Native integration into your IT ecosystem
Kalyzée Connect interfaces with your LMS, student portals and institutional calendars. No extra silo.
- Automatic storage and publishing
